UAE Trade By Royal Consultancy · November 18, 2025
Importing into the UAE is straightforward once you know the sequence. Here is the checklist our team uses on every engagement.
- Obtain an importer code from the relevant customs authority.
- Classify your goods by HS code before shipping.
- Prepare a compliant document set: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading.
- Confirm any ESMA/ECAS conformity requirements for regulated products.
- Pre-arrange clearance with a licensed broker.
Follow these and you will avoid the vast majority of delays we see importers hit.
